To start editing, go to the post you want to edit and either:
1) After scrolling a bit, tap the yellow 'Edit' button
2) Tap the 'more' button at the top right of your post
The title can be changed at the top. Tap an item's caption to edit it. Use the drag handle (3 horizontal lines) to re-order the actions within the post. Tap the circular 'x' icon to delete an action.
Tap the settings icon at the top right. From there, you can add or edit your profile/cover photo.
Usernames are unique to a user. Choose a username you'll be happy with for the long term!
We do not encourage changing your username, but we will now consider requests from users on a case-by-case basis. The only way to request a change of username is through this form. Due to high demand, we will not reply to requests submitted through any other channel (email, social media etc).
To block a user, go to their profile. Tap the 'more' button at the top right of the post. Choose 'Block user'.
To unblock a user, go to their profile. Tap the 'more' button at the top right of the post. Choose 'Unblock user'.
You can also unblock a user by tapping the 'Blocked' button on the top right of their profile.
There are no plans to introduce this feature in the near future, however, it will be considered when our community reaches a critical scale.
If you go to 'Settings' you are able to select autopublishing to Facebook when you:
- Follow a Dayre blog
- Like a Day post
- Create a new action
As an alternative, you can also scroll to the bottom of your post and there will be an option to 'Share' on Facebook (as well as other share options installed on your device).
Unfortunately, though we sometimes would like to rewrite the past, we can't! Backdating is not a feature we will be adding yet, but we will be adding a draft feature soon.
You are not able to change your email account at this time.
Use the 'Explore' function from the bottom navigation to search for blogs by username or by tag. Also check out interesting reads in our Editor's Pick.
You can delete your own comments and any comment posted on a day that you've written. Tap on the comment (away from the profile picture and any @mentions or #hashtags). Then tap the delete icon.
Tap the 'more' button on the top right of the post. From the menu that appears, you can select the report option.
Dayre supports iOS 7.0 and Android 4.0 and above.
You are not able to delete your Dayre account at this time.
