Dear Dayre,FLYING TO OKINAWA TONIGHT!!!Haven’t packed but it’s gonna be pretty easy to pack I think since it’s mostly diving and outdoor activities 😂😂😂Quite excited to dive but it’s gonna be sooo coldddddddd.I was worried about my surgical wound too because I suddenly had a lot of bleeding a couple days ago plus I was constipated for like three days. Finally, I managed to poop yesterday and I was like.....
Dear Dayre,Today is Tuesday, which means it’s almost officially two weeks post-surgery!I’m so glad I’m able to be up and about already, though I don’t know why my wound suddenly bled a lot yesterday, wondering if I ruptured my stitches or something 😭😭😭A little worried cos I’m flying on Thursday night and I don’t want any complications during my trip!Just praying that all goes well. And that I manage to take a healthy poop soon (TMI but I’ve been constipated the past two days 😥)
(continued from last post)What was really annoying though was some of the side effects I felt probably post-GA and meds! Firstly, I had to keep to small and easily-digestible meals because I was truly fearful of that first poop. According to the doctor, the first bowel movement could be a 10/10 pain and I was NOT looking forward to that?! Secondly, I got very nauseous on my second or third night probably from the meds and also indigestion which was very uncomfortable 😭
Dear Dayre,Exactly one week post-op!!!!I do realise that I dayre-ed about my procedure halfway and then the past seven days got the better of me and I didn’t finish updating. Good news is, I think the worst part is over (the first seven days) and from now on the recovery should be slowly getting easier and easier 😭😭😭I even disappeared from IG for the past one week because that was my level of incapacitation 😥
Dear Dayre,This new year has been a lot of 💸💸💸 thus far 😭 And 3rd day of the new year sees me on a hospital bed for a surgery that I’ve needed to get done for the longest time, piles surgery / hemorrhoidectomy ✂️😷This must be one of the unsexiest medical conditions ever, really. It’s basically enlarged blood vessels that cause pain and bleeding from your anus - apparently about 35% of the population suffer from hemorrhoids/piles and it’s a lot more common than people know!!!
