Ok, @bossming just had his annual "talk" with bloggers and his conclusion to me, as it is every year, is to blog more. So here I am, on dayre, not quite sure what to post about.

I've sorta quit twitter for a while now - not sure why, since I've always liked tweeting. I guess when instagram started taking off my numbers there were growing so massively (thanks baby Dash) that I got drawn to that platform more and neglected twitter.

I think a lot of singaporeans aren't tweeting anymore, most people's feeds are just a link to their instagram posts.

But recently I find myself drawn to twitter again, for one stupid reason: Donald Trump

I have a very unpopular opinion - dare I say it? I quite like Donald Trump.

There, I said it. It takes balls!!!

No no, before u decide to type a angry comment to the likes of "how could you? He is a misogynistic, racist, paedophillic rapey hilter incarnate!", let me explain.

I don't like him for his views or policies. Actually, I only have the vaguest of ideas what they are, because American media is so polarizing that you can read about, say, building a wall, and the right and left wing definitions are so different that the average person will just be left confounded. Ok... no idea till today what obamacare is exactly.

So, politics aside... I like Trump because he is SO DAMN FUNNY

I find myself back on twitter just to read his tweets and the corresponding celebrities all tweeting back at him in anger, and I find it soooo funny.

He is making all the liberals so pissed off, and he is so shameless that whatever you throw at him has no effect whatsoever. I'm imagining that he is just giggling to himself every time he writes some ridiculous tweet about like how Meryl streep is overrated or the Hamilton play is nonsense. And ending off with a "Sad!"

He is, you have to admit, the most entertaining president that ever was. Except maybe when Clinton's blowjob scandal came out, but I was like too young to fully appreciate how juicy that was.

Trump is so damn rude and crude that it's just unbelievable.

I remember when I first heard he was running for presidency.

I had, at that point, sincerely and with all my heart thought it was a joke. And guess what? He actually won.

It is like a comedic movie where the most vain, self absorbed idiot becomes president, except its happening in real life!!

When he was running, I was just like Well there is just no way he will win, cmon.

Then, I remember, mike was watching him talking... I can't remember it was for the debates or something.

Usually I watch 15 mins of these political things and I get quite bored and lost, when they talk about foreign policies and the like.

So I joined my husband on the couch, and listened to Trump speak, fully expecting to be bored in 5 mins.

Guess what? The moment I sat down, he was talking about how some news article said he has small hands.

And then he showed his hands, and alluded to his hands not being small, and therefore his penis isn't either.

I looked at Mike in shock "Is he talking about his penis?! At the debates?!"

Mike was like "yes."

I went OMG and proceeded to laugh my ass off.

"Why aren't u laughing?" I asked the husband. "You don't find it funny? Look at all the serious people shaking their heads at his penis speech omg hahahahha they look so offended."

Mike just looked at me and sighed, saying "my country's future is at stake and there we have these two clowns."

Oops.

I mean yeah, I understand why people are all mass panicking and protesting. I understand that -maybe- America and the world's future is dire.

But then again that's what they said the first time George Bush (junior) was elected, and they prophesied Armageddon the second time he was reelected. Talking about how he is a war monger, idiot, etc.

Meh. World still spins, life still goes on, America is still fine?

Anyway, I'm not American. So it's not as if I can vote or anything. I guess I can lend my voice to protests, but sorry, I don't think that that will stop him from being president. 😐

Since it is what it is, I'll just wait and see if he actually does a good job or not.

And in the meantime, I am going to fully enjoy the entertainment that this ludicrous presidency brings.

Just treat it as if you are watching a tv series where, like, the lead is Will Ferrell who is an over-tanned self indulgent reality show host and he is president. Except the series is going on for 4 seasons and Netflix might commission an addition 4.

I super loved it when he was so rude to the CNN reporter. 😂😂😂 Unbelievable.

U know what I don't like though?

People who think they are better than everyone else.

And Hollywood liberals are the worst. Whole day lecturing people on how they should live their lives... oh you should save the whales, be vegan, adopt don't buy, be body positive, look at what's happening in Syria, blah blah blah. Seriously, stop. So damn preachy all the fucking time. Yeah you are the most stellar specimen of a human being. 😇

Say what you want about Trump but you know what he isn't? Pretentious.

He is an asshole, and he at least just owes it.
