The agent that approached me was rude af. Firstly, after he confirmed with me for an interview appointment, he mentioned that he would like to meet me for a debrief. It would not take long, just around 15 mins, but I HAVE TO GO DOWN TO HIS OFFICE FROM MY INTERVIEW VENUE FOR THE DEBRIEF.
Like wtf? You were the one who wanted to meet me, to know about how did the interview go blah blah blah. But you expect me to travel down to your office, wasting my time and transport fee?
I'm on the lookout for a new job, but not so desperate please?
And not to mention, the job that he intro pays the same as my current job, just that the job scope is tad different from what I'm doing now, which is the reason why I accepted the interview in the first place.
Secondly, when I have the courtesy to tell him that I'm unable to make it for the interview due to my colleague taking MC, and that I would need to cover his duties, he replied 'I thought you took leave?'
Mind you, I told him before I was taking half day, not full day.
My colleague is not here, of course I have to cover his duties and that I have to cancel my leave?
He should be glad that I didn't cancel the whole interview the very last minute, or that tell him that I won't be going for the interview anymore.
And the fact that he doesn't understand that start and end of month is the busiest period for my job makes me feel more negative towards him 👎🏻
Like, although you are a recruiter, but still in HR lehs. Where is your understanding and compassionate? Where is your PR and communication skills? All lacking lehs 🤷🏻♀️
