I've been shopping a fair bit on qoo10 recently. A rather new experience for me, since all I usually do in the platform is browse. Most of the items are definitely baby related, and it all started with our first 2 packs of diapers. Lol. Hehe it was so much fun to receive my random packages. It's like unwrapping presents during Christmas!
As with our wedding #VHtakeontheworld, and a lot of the photos on my / our Instagram, H and I decided to DIY our own maternity shoot. It's probably not very common, and would be quite nice having someone take them professional shots for us, but we wanted something intimate and in the comfort of our little nest.
I'm still reeling from the high of yesterday's second home antenatal session with our doula. 🌟 We went through active labour positions (both at home and in the hospital), and walked through in detail1) signs of early labour 2) signs of active labour 3) when when to call the doula4) when to go to the hospital 5) what to expect when you are in the hospital and what to do upon arrival 6) items we will need for active labour & your go-bag
What a day today. Early this morning at 7, it had crossed my mind that perhaps baby was on the way. We had our first practise contractions or as most people know it, Braxton Hicks contractions. I woke up feeling pain in my abdomen, and it wasn't your usual need to pee or poop type of pain; it was slightly more intense than normal. I decided to lay in bed for a while longer to see how long this contraction would last before I woke H up. It maybe lasted for about 30 sec or so.
The no-sleep is starting. Ha! And this is even before baby arrives! Been waking up at odd hours in the middle of the night and then again at 730am or 8am for the past week or so. Is this your way of telling me your schedule, baby darling? #dayrepregnancy #dayremummies #dayrebabies
