Hi 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻It’s been a while! Time flies when you have a baby. Eli is turning 6 months old this Sunday and we are gonna be feeding him his first taste of food tomorrow!! 😬😬😬Both H and I are super excited and I’m hoping that he will be a greedy little one and take after his daddy’s eating habits hahaha
I thought I would be able to bounce back to my pre-pregnancy body in a matter of weeks because my sister did get back her figure 3 weeks postpartum, and we do have the same genes after all. And then I see famous people like Sonya Davidson (who had twins!), Chompoo Araya (also had twins!), Hannah Quinlivan, Janet Hsieh regaining their figures mere weeks (ahem 2 weeks for Chompoo) after giving birth and I felt hopeful like OOOHHHH THAT WILL DEFINITELY BE ME!!
Life is finally back on track now that Eli is 10 weeks old!You have no idea how bleak I thought my life was looking after my confinement nanny left and I was home alone with Eli till 6.15pm everyday until H comes home. I had no help and I thought I would be fine having no help but I guess I just wasn’t that strong enough? 🤷🏻♀️
It’s been a while since my last post and Eli is almost two months old now. Seems like time flies but every afternoon feels soooo long because my stubborn baby refuses to nap!! I am worried because newborns are supposed to sleep a lot and I’m just afraid with Eli being awake for such long hours it will affect his development 😞Motherhood is so tough and I’ve said this so many times to so many people during this short period and I’ve already shed tears over my new role.
