I can't stress enough how important it is to take care of your... stress. And I don't mean just work stress or your day to day "Omg I feel so stressed" kind of stress. I mean all kinds of emotional stress, like baggage from past experiences and traumas, family dynamics, friendship issues, politics at work, personal emotional issues like anxiety, depression, Low self-esteem and Low self-worth etc.

Having such a visually apparent condition like TSW/RSS leaves you really susceptible to unsolicited advice from everyone and anyone. Suddenly, everyone becomes a guru on skin health, even though you have not spoken 3 sentences to them about what you are going through. It is easy to become confused by the many voices telling you what is beneficial for you, what is detrimental to you, and what you should be doing to help yourself.
