I’m glad the long holiday is over. Holiday for them means all the more tired for me. And I don’t think I’ve rested sufficiently after the whole Husband in Hospital Fiasco.Kudos to SAHM who have kids who stay at home most of the day! It’s a full 24-hour job. And if the husband is not understanding, basically he will just not help out thinking that because he works he should get time out to rest when he’s back or during such long holidays. Hmm.
Let me share God’s grace as I commute to the hospital.Husband P felt lower back pain and was about to dismiss it but to cut the long story short, I managed to convince him plus the pain was great and we went to a 24-hour clinic. The doc there diagnosed as kidney stones and just then P turned all white, broke out into cold sweat and was about to pass out. He asked for something sweet but the doc looked quite unfazed and kept saying he didn’t have any sweets. 🙄
What an adventure tonight. Husband was in pain, rushed to the clinic then to A&E, with this little one in tow. He’s staying for observation, generally better. But I just want to say I’m so thankful for God’s grace in all that’s happened - the timing (should be clear before CNY!), the rather cooperative baby, that the baby’s source of milk (i.e. me) is portable, and she’s in her bed now quite tired out from being curious of her surroundings for a while.
