Look at this little goofball. Weekends are so tiring but they feel complete. On weekdays, I keep feeling like all these moments of Dylan growing up are just passing me by. So on weekends, there is motivation to wake a little earlier, be the one playing and caring for him instead of passing him off to someone else and generally just making up for whatever lost time that’s possible in two days.
Whenever I thought about possibly having a son in the past, I always imagined enrolling him into the little league equivalent in Singapore. I don’t know if he will like playing soccer much when he grows up. I’ll leave that up to him. But for now let me savour this very hilarious shot of him looking quite pleased in his oversized jersey.
Today I heard a song that reminded me of my trip to London about six years ago. It was my first and last solo trip. I was traipsing through Kew Gardens alone, plugged into sad love songs on my iPod, not because I was sad but because it matched the wet weather there. I went to scour my social media account for photographs that I had uploaded of that trip. I found myself blown away by how youthful I looked and how much life has changed since then.
Nawww!!! I finished watching all five seasons of Brooklyn 99 that is available on Netflix. Season 6 has finished airing but it hasn’t been released on Netflix yet. Why!The show was actually on Fox channel for all 5 seasons but to everyone’s dismay it wasn’t renewed for a 6th! At the eleventh hour, NBC decided to save the show. A 6th season was born! And it has now been renewed for a 7th. Talk about drama!
