Feeling so dizzy after a night of poor sleep + several unwanted dreams. My throat is deteriorating rapidly again. I was recovering for the first three days of the week but after the third night, the pain came straight back. I am so sure it was my K2s. Sigh
I really dislike being in such immense discomfort. Today, I got hit with another bout of sinus again 🤧 Good health is so taken granted for
At least I have you ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Circuit @ STILL
Sunday’s, when it felt like I finally got back my strength + stamina after last week of being unwell. It was such a good workout! Managed to push myself really hard and barely stopped unnecessarily. Felt so good about myself after that
HIIT @ The Yoga Co.
Yay to more HIIT classes in their schedule! Which meant Al could come along to this class with me again. Previously, he hadn’t been able to because the timings couldn’t meet
I am disciplining myself to stick to a 12kg kettlebell for kb swings but zomg sometimes, it swings so fast that I can’t breathe 😵 It’s already a challenge to maintain an exhalation with every swing, I can’t do it so quickly!
@ Absolute You
Whee, lucky slot! Haven’t done spin for quite awhile now and I was looking forward to just riding with the music. It was a guest instructor too! The session was mostly only 2-3 turns on the knob but the base speed was pretty fast. I perspired so much 🥵
Meltdown @ Haus
Al and I are sharing a package from Haus and have been attending their workouts weekly...until I realised that the validity period doesn’t get halved despite the sharing, unlike most studios, right?
But anyway, I believe we did like 150 burpees in this one session 😵 There were actually TWO sets of 35 burpees in <90s — one at the start and the other at the end. While we killed it, my quads died too

Revitalise @ Yoga+ (1/6 class pack)
Down with a painful throat and leaking nose, I thought to attend one of my favourite yin yang yoga class this early evening ✨
It was lovely. The sun shone in so beautiful with its rays of light touching my feet. While doing a side twist, it even casted itself directly onto my face. I didn’t mind it at all and instead, closed my eyes and breathed the light in. It was wonderful
My head felt so heavy for the entire day and I was so, so tired, but in just 60 mins of yoga, my nose was cleared and my head so much lighter. I was more awake and alert too. It honestly almost felt like magic ✨
Of course, the effect only lasted for an hour+ before I succumbed to sinus again. What a curse. Popped some panadol and headed to bed at 10 PM. I hate hate hate taking medicine because I don’t like subjecting my insides to chemicals, but when I need to wake up at 6:15 AM tomorrow, on a Saturday morning to report to work, I guess not taking medicine isn’t really a choice
I actually attended a class from last Saturday till today; that’s 7 consecutive days! Tomorrow’s stretch will be the 8th. It’s actually very possible when you alternate between high and low intensity ones, and it made me reminisce the days when CP still had its 200c trial.............lol 🥴
May I feel slightly better tomorrow 🙏🏻
