Waaaaa rashes!!!I HATE it when I get them because your face gets bumpy flushed uncomfortable and red. Then as it starts to die down the layers of cells die and go rigid and start peeling off in sheets. Which is the time when it feels itchy and tight and no makeup will sit on top because every flake becomes visible any time any pigment goes on top.Recently decided to try a pore minimizing toner that I used to love and my skin must have changed quite a bit because after 2 uses rashes came.
This isn't the season for a ton of fragrance releases but I've suddenly gotten into a bunch of new and old fragrances and I am quite nuts with them.Just this morning I sprayed Dior Hypnotic Poison on my arms. 15mins later I decided I had to spritz Juicy Couture on my wrists. Then before I left the house I decided I wanted to smell something floral so I rolled a bit of Chloé Love Story on the backs of my hands.I am probably trailing toxic fumes behind me now.
It's not often that I finish products but I sometimes take a quick pic of things I'm about to throw out so I can remind myself what items I actually use the most LOL.I think what gets finished the fastest is without a doubt cleansing waters. I think thorough cleansing is super important and when using liquid removers you should try to soak your cotton pads to maximize breakdown of makeup and minimize rubbing. So I don't skimp on cleansing waters because I use these to remove my eye makeup.
Woot my SUNUV nail lamp just arrived in the post. This is an LED nail lamp for curing gel polish and acrylic nails.Btw if you're considering an at-home system, UV lamps are potentially bad for your skin, need bulb replacement every 100 uses, and eat too much power overall, so they're kinda obsolete. LEDs also take 1/2 the time to cure nails compared to UV lamps so do not buy UV lamps.LED lamps are also cheap now. I got this on Aliexpress for US$20.99. Cheaper than a session at most salons.
It's almost Chinese New Year!Sorry for the long absence... we've been rushing to complete some work before the holiday period. And clean the house. And do some new year shopping. And pack the dreaded red packets. If you've known me for any period of time, you'll know I enjoy CNY as much as I enjoy wedding dinners. (Aka "not at all".)But you can still make the best of it by focusing on the enjoyable aspects. For me that's dressing up and dolling up. Lol.What can I say? I'm a Rooster.
