Ugh I soooo love this right now. I've been using the regular Lip Glow balm since - I dunno... 2010 I think. And it's still one of the best "dress up balms".Something to keep in your bag and make your face not look like death when you don't have lipstick on. Back then color changing balms were usually terrible; not moisturizing enough and they made your lips overly red. And not "nice and even" red too. "Patchy and too dark on the outside" red.Lip Glow always had just the right balance.
Ok here's the tutorial for the "Starry Glam" glittery smoky winged eye I posted on IG yesterday evening.I've been wearing a variation of this look out to various events recently and people keep commenting on it, partly because it looks like a standard smoky wing from a distance and then every time you move or blink your lids glisten like black diamonds.I'll talk you through glitter choices later. What I used was a silver-grey micro-glitter so it still gives a smoky effect.
Quick heads-up for those still looking for a last minute beauty deal!LANEIGE has a 3 for 2 promo from 23-26 Dec on all Two Tone Lip Bars at LANEIGE boutiques only. If you have a few shades you are itching to try (or a few last min gifts to buy) this might be it.
Urgh. You might remember me posting about the Cover Fx Custom Enhancer Drops several months back.I dunno how it could have taken me so long to finally get my hands on the 3 shades I want.I felt like I was asking the Sephora team every month. Then Sephora finally said they'd be launching Dec in Sg. Ugh long wait. So I stalked Beautybay and Beautylish.Put myself on Waitlist. They were constantly sold out.Come Dec, I went on holiday. And the I came back and finally went to town.
OMG crazy hot day to be out...Am on my way for a quick visit to Ardmore Aesthetics Clinic again - more for a consultation on dark circle treatments.Yeaaaap.I have had quite dark circles all my life. Maybelline Cover Stick was the 2nd thing I ever sneakily borrowed from mom's makeup box as a teen (right after lipstick) cos even at 11 I was so excited that there was a product to cover circles.20+ yrs and 72941 concealers later, I kinda accepted that eye creams can't fix my problem.
