BABY'S HERE! Well been here for 2 weeks actually and it has been a helluva 2 weeks. Ended up having to do be induced and that didn't work so an emergency C section was needed (bye-bye delivery plan), spent an extra night in the hospital (as heating at home was down so I was all "oh I think I need another night to recover") and then finally settling in to mummy and nursing life. WAH SEH it's true that nothing can prepare or warn me for this new life. Okay delivery story coming soon kthxbye
Ayam pregnant in a strange land. Being pregnant in the UK has been a very strange experience. I mean being pregnant for the first time in any country would probably be strange because you have this weird KICKING HICCUPING GROWING PARASITE in you which causes all sorts of crazy symptoms. But my experience with the NHS so far…Hmmm…
More pointless pillow conversations...Me: "WHAT YOU READING"G: "...You know what I'm reading..." Me: "Kublai Khan? How does he die anyway?"G: "I'm halfway through. Guess I'll find out" Me:turns to the Google home mini "HEY GOOGLE HOW DOES KUBLAI KHAN DIE?" G: "HEY GOOGLE DON'T ANSWER THAT" I SWEAR the Google home mini thinks for a second before she says "I'm sorry. I don't know how to help with that" Very clever Google home, well played.
I've just bought my mum plane tickets to the UK for my delivery! Hopefully baby is punctual/late. But ANYWAY last week I typed it a really long post of my 34 week scan out but had no idea how to post it until enlightened by @jay_tee and @parsimoniouspenny. (And @clarahow tried many times to help me but I retarded sorry) So here it is now! EXPERIMENT LONG POST.
