Exactly 14 days away from CNY!
that's really fast.
Counting down to the first time we are giving hongbaos. Lolol.
Thankfully Aaron changed new notes already. I've been swarmed with #thejoycrafters orders that I haven't got time except work, cook, housework and rushing orders.
Also bought our hongbaos from taobao and now waiting for it to reach the warehouse so I can consolidate asap. I'm cutting very close to CNY but I'm keeping my fingers crossed lol
This is the only CNY decoration I have up.
Waiting to get a vase from my mum so I can buy some pussy willow!
It's been almost a year since we moved in and there's nothing much to throw away. More of the usual cleaning of the house.
We finally washed our curtains. Didn't want to send in for dry-cleaning because it is so expensive! Throw into the washer, delicate mode, cold wash and viola! It dries up really quickly too so we didn't have to worry about damp curtains.
Also popped by #theclosetlover's store last week when their 2nd collection with @/pearlynkmin came out because I have been wanting to get one of these Collab pieces for the longest time but never got actually did it.
I loved the prints ever since I saw the preview!
I tried M but it was snug on me. I don't think I could have eaten anything or sit comfortably so I went for L instead. Then I realized there was the bird print!
It's so cute hahaha. Got this in the end and it's my first ever qipao in 28 years of my life :D
Thought this made me look like a teacher. Haha.
I like the floral prints but the cutting is a bit unique and I don't think I foresee myself wearing this.
Tried the romper in pink because mint wasn't available.
L was the only size on the rack and it's a little too big. But I really love this one.
I left without this and kept thinking about it.
But I won their giveaway!
So I just carted out the romper in mint.
Wasn't intending to get more than 1 outfit for CNY but thanks to the giveaway, I have 2 outfits for CNY! 😁
Made our annual trip to Chinatown with the family.
We've been doing this since forever.vat least a good 20 years? Keeping this tradition up for as long as we can.
For us, CNY is the biggest holiday of the year.
No CNY is ever complete without a trip to Chinatown.
I hope we'll be able to do this with our future kids as well.
