8 months left to go, and finally went for AD fitting and soft booked two gowns! Really happy with my choices. Not sure if I’ll change it up again but I love how simple the ones I chose were. ❤️ (pictured above not chosen)Also, scored a pair of heels for the wedding from Charles and Keith at $34.90 - the Anchorpoint outlet. Cheap thrills! 😍
Settled wedding bands today - unplanned! But managed to get it at Meyson at $1,050 nett for a pair. Super good deal and really glad we managed to save another $1k from initial budget. So much win! 🙃I was pleasantly surprised with the range of bands, compared to a couple of the big jewellers out there. Plus, service was really really good. Brides should really check them out! #dayrebrides
Now that we are inching another month, I am trying to figure out if we missed anything. From the last checklist, I have since progressed as below:✔️ AD florals✔️ Invites design for banquet➖ AD decor (gonna DIY!)➖ AD itinerary (draft)➖ Invites design for church➖ GDL 喜饼 (reserve at later date)✖️ AD shoes/heels✖️ AD caterer for church✖️ AD mums’ dresses
Thought I would share my budgeting process for wedding, and hope to contribute to this little community! Disclaimer: I have no clue what is the “market rate” for holding a wedding with approx. 150 pax, so the below are solely my thought process for wedding budgeting! 😊
