Self-inflicted pain

I had had 2 litres of chinese medicine drinks on Monday just gone. Do not even ask me what it was because while I can identify it, lao niang had no idea what it was called.
The next day I woke up feeling a bit under the weather. Still pulled through clinic and even stayed for teaching (although I was already sleeping at the last lecture).

Somehow managed to walk back home (thank God) and quickly changed into pajamas and hopped in to bed.

Has now progressed to constant epigastric (tummy) pain. I slept through the day until 3pm and thought I must forced myself to eat and drink water.

Still having tummy ache now and every time I stood upright, it hurts. The best position is laying flat! As I am typing this, I am laying on my tummy on the floor- I do this when im studying anyways- using the desk is too mainstream lol crazy

I am convinced it is the massive amount of unnecessary chinese medicine that I took on Monday which has

Caused this illness. On Monday I told my colleague who practises TCM about my drink. I said it tasted like wood tea and it was better than green tea.

Anyhow do not be like me. Treat your body well. It is not a machine. Rest when you have to.

I have been trying to learn how to recognise Chinese words this year. I used a few apps and tried them almost everyday. Seeing almost zero improvement.

If you have any good tips on how to recognise chinese characters, please let me know.

It would be such a good gift for myself to achieve this goal ⛅
