#FeatureFriday - Meet our most petite Alpha, Shufeng! ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ‘

Who’s excited for National Day? We know we are! ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ

We’ve covered so much on the upcoming National Day Parade and all the happenings that you could feel our excitement all the way across the screen ๐Ÿ˜

Sharing our excitement for National Day is… Shufeng, our featured Alpha of the month! Going by the social media handle @PetiteKSF, no prizes for guessing that she’s really petite ๐Ÿ˜†

She’s also one of our newest addition to the Churp Churp family so come along with us as we take you through some of her July favourites, makeup inspirations, shopping tips and what she loves about Singapore ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Shufeng’s small in size but VERY GREEDY when it comes to food ๐Ÿ˜‹

My favourite local dishes are Katong Laksa, Punggol Nasi Lemak and my all-time favourite… black carrot cake! They are the best, sooo cheap and yummy that you can just forget about all the cafe food out there. ๐Ÿฝ

Her July Favourites are… โœจ

โœจ ETUDE HOUSE’s REAL POWDER CUSHION โœจ

I’m extremely cautious when it comes to buying foundation as my skin is pretty sensitive to a lot of commercial brands. This time, Etude House did it again with their latest powder cushion which has won my heart over. I love how it transforms to powder within a few seconds the moment you apply it on your skin!

10/10 for this product because it really gives you a very natural finishing. It’s my go-to product (holy-grail!) now and I really recommend this product to the ladies who are looking for a powdery and a more natural finish.

โœจ ONLINE STORE, MDS โœจ

Used to work with them for a few ads and now I’m happy to be a paying customer. The founder of MDS is also pretty petite so most of the clothes I get are available in XS. I’m sure I don’t have to explain much as MDS is almost everywhere!

Shufeng’s makeup looks are Japanese-inspired! ๐Ÿ‘˜

If you want me to describe my everyday makeup, I would say it’s more towards the Japanese style.

They are very focused on eye makeup and I have been into them since I was 18 (young and vain, very sure it’s genetic. Lol) YouTube was one of the sites I surfed very often. I started putting on makeup with just $2 Daiso products; those were the only makeup products I could afford with no part-time job back then haha.

I have to admit that SOME of the makeup products on the shelves ain’t that bad and the first foundation I started using was Silkygirl! My puberty came late, so no concealers needed at that point of time lol. #thisisarealjoke

As you can see, makeup trends are ever-changing, I look for inspirations through magazines and Youtube these days. Ponymakeup and Bubzbeauty are a couple of my favourite YouTubers whom you should totally follow!

Petite girls out there, @petiteksf has some fashion tips for you! ๐Ÿ‘

1๏ธโƒฃ To look taller, nude heels are the way to go. I feel they definitely help by “lengthening” your legs, especially in photos. I own like 3 to 4 pairs of similar nude heels, never sick of them!

2๏ธโƒฃ Try to avoid midi skirts, they will make you look shorter and tinier and not many petite girls can pull that off.

3๏ธโƒฃ Never get an oversized bag, it’s like a hell-no. BUT, it’s perfectly ok for you to get an oversized tee, they are very comfortable and common nowadays. I’ve been digging those lately.
(Best tip: Get your boyfriend’s shirt, you can save some money. Lol)

Shufeng loves that Singapore is safe and travelling around is sooo convenient ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Despite how expensive the country is, I still think it is a blessing to be living in this tiny red dot. Let’s take a moment to reflect on the peaceful sleep we get every day and getting home safely even when it’s 3AM in the morning.

Being born in Singapore has made me reflect on a lot of things - e.g. we don’t get natural disasters like tsunami or earthquake and security here is very tight (which we should not take for granted).

Singapore Armed Forces are all very well-trained and without their contribution and hard work all these years, I doubt Singapore will be this safe. ๐Ÿ‘ฎ

I guess the best part about growing up in Singapore is the transportation. ๐Ÿš‡

The government has made it so convenient for all of us! Travelling around with just Red, Green and Purple Line back then and now? We even have blue and orange line! Not forgetting buses as well. I remember getting a bit lost with my friends when we first started taking the orange line, lol. #itwasthecoolestadventureever

We are extremely thankful for the blue and orange lines too. Travelling time was cut down really significantly! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Head on over to sg.churpieblogs.com for more on Shufeng‘s advice on getting a pet, the one thing that you probably never knew about her and more! ๐Ÿค—

Check out her blog and social media platforms for peeks into her life and don’t forget to follow @petiteksf on Dayre too ๐Ÿค—

That’s all we got this week, have a Churp-y weekend all! ๐Ÿ––๐Ÿผ
