What a work-at-home set up looks like when you haven’t had to do work at a table for 3 years since graduating, and your table has become a vanity area LOL.The past few weeks I was doing work on bed since I had to elevate my feet as much as possible, but now that I can be a bit more relaxed about elevating I decided to work at my table. Thankfully PL and I packed it back in January lmao so it was much easier to find some space to do work. It’s a tiny space but it’s enough (for now)
Plant Lover SUFFERING while pushing me up a slope at HortPark lemao. We went for Gardeners’ Day Out today cos Plant Lover loves plants lulz. Since we were at HortPark we took a short walk/roll - HortPark is actually pretty wheelchair accessible!! Lots of slopes and smooth paths.I can walk on my own now, but v v v slowly and I get tired easily lel. So for longer distances we still try to use the wheelchair. I get a lot of stares but I stare back HAAHAHA and then people turn away hurriedly 👌🏻
Still can’t walk great + first day of period + WHOLE BLOCK ELECTRICITY DOWN ie no fan no wifi n fridge wtf Issa great day 🙃But ok #blessed that my period only came after I’m more mobile and can move around on my own, plus tomorrow I’ll be plaster free!! I can’t imagine if my period came in the first week or something wtf how to change tampon if I cannot sit and stand without help lemao Also yes I purposely scheduled my surgery to not coincide with my period 👌🏻
My caretaker and I during happier, walking times in Melaka lmaoRandom unrelated photo cos I AM CRAVING SO MUCH FOOD.I’ve been bed-bound(ish) for almost 2 full weeks now and my meals are limited to Grabfood and the kindness of the people around me 💕 I appreciate it a LOT - my parents and Plant Lover and friends who visit are always offering to dapao food for me until sometimes I’m spoilt for choice /wipes tear
Me elevating my feet as much as possible lmao even in my dad’s car.Went to the doctor today and spent so. much. time. WAITING wtf. Waited half an hour to see the doc for one minute, then waited another 45 mins ish to change my bandages.Tbh changing the bandage and cleaning my wound was A BITCH. The nurse was already very gentle but one particular wound was slightly raw so whenever the cleansing alcohol touched it it was like 👹👹👹👹👹👹👹
Sighhhh having awful leg cramps that stretch up to my thigh and i can’t sleep well because of that T_T not sure if it’s a result of a ~whole new style of walking~ given that I can’t properly put weight on the whole foot yet, or if there’s swelling due to me being geh kiang and going out for dinner two days in a row??? 😩😩😩😩I’ve already taken two out of three painkillers that I’m allowed to take and i usually only need to take one so even taking two is alarming to me...
