How I got whiter and fairer skin

Starting my Dayre post with an unglam selfie because I can πŸ˜— The radio said temperature's at 35°C currently! #snapchatlies

Oh anyway, I mentioned yesterday I'm doing a review on whitening pills (which freaking worked!!!) but I'm on the way to work now so please stay tuned!

In the mean time...

Here's another selfie from my snapchat just because πŸ˜—πŸ˜—

Have a good Tuesday my friends on the Internet!

PANG KANG LIAOOOOOO!!!!

*skips home happily* LOL Dayre needs an overly excited sticker, preferably with the cat skipping. I think it'll be a hit! @blog hehehe

Wait ah let me walk home and put down my bag first before I continue my Dayre post!! Hehe.

So about a month ago, I posted this picture saying my tanned skin needs some help. I've also talked briefly about how I've been rather tanned my whole life and it was honestly quite sad whenever people say

Omg why are you so tanned!!!

What can I say? "Oh no la nothing to do so I went to Sahara dessert and rolled in the sand for like 6 hours, hence I got so tanned! πŸ™‚πŸ‘πŸ»"

Obviously it's because of the sun!!! Or rather too much exposure to the sun. We all know how crazy Singapore's weather is. Today was 35°C!!!!!! #justsaying

Of course, people like me who don't put sunblock are more likely to get tanned. And by tanned, I mean I'm REALLY tanned.

I found some of my older photos and you'll see what I mean.

I think I was 14 in this picture!! Still tanned and missing my instruments 😿

Dudeeeee seriously I could blend in with the darkness!!! I think I was 15 in this photo hhaha that's 7 years ago omg #old

So tanned still wear brown 😿 I was 15 in this pic too HAHAHA

21 and still tanned

So anyway, I've been trying out this IDS Lyco-White pills for almost a month now and oh my goodness, it really did work!

Honestly I was feeling pretty skeptical when I saw a few influencers write about it because I've never thought much about oral whitening supplements. I only know people who wanna be fairer can opt for whitening injections but that definitely isn't gonna be on my list so I'm really glad to have found an alternative!!

Though I haven't been religiously consuming this oral whitening supplement because I sometimes forget about it, I find that my skin has shown vast improvement in terms of skin tone.

I mean... JUST LOOK.

The lighting is just slightly different because of the clothes I'm wearing but honestly you can really tell there's a difference before and after!

Because IDS Lyco-White doesn't ONLY work as a whitening product for my face but my entire body as well, I've noticed drastic changes in my skin tone even on my arms and legs.

I actually didn't realize how much fairer my skin got until I took this photo yesterday and made it into a before-after collage!!!

Now that I've seen the changes, I'm obviously very in love with this product. Well because I haven't been religiously consuming these pills, I don't think I've achieved the maximum whitening effect yet but judging from the results so far... It's more than enough for me!

Honestly my face has also brightened up quite a bit! I don't think these pills only whitened my skin, but they helped in helping my skin look more radiant and bright as well.

Pros and Cons

Of course, every product has its good and bad points. To be fair, here are some of Lyco-White's good and bad points in my opinion!

Pros:

βœ”οΈ1️⃣ IT REALLY WORKS.

βœ”οΈ2️⃣ It acts as an oral sunblock to protect my skin from the harmful UV rays.
— You know how much of a hassle it is to keep applying and reapplying sunblock several times daily! That's why I never bothered applying sunblock. But now with these pills, it's a yay to hassle-free sun protection!

βœ”οΈ3️⃣ These pills are very, very safe!
— Like everyone else, I obviously have reservations about the use of oral supplements. I mean we've all heard of all the 'stomach pumping' cases after consumption of pills that are bad for the body.

But I've googled and done some read ups prior to consuming these pills and I'm glad to know that Lyco-White contains a lot of natural ingredients such as tomato extract, plant extract, black pepper extract.

βœ”οΈ4️⃣ In fact, they're good for my body!
— Because of the amount of natural ingredients, the Lyco-White pills actually offer a lot of health benefits and is said to be a 'super-antioxidant' that is good for me.

βœ”οΈ5️⃣ It's suitable for all skin types
— From what I know, these pills do not cause any irritation regardless of your skin type since it's an oral supplement and you don't apply it on your skin directly. Unless you're allergic to tomato, plants and black pepper then maybe you'd need to check with the manufacturer of the IDS Lyco-White pills: JYSK Skin Solutions!

Cons:

❌1️⃣ It is slightly pricey
— As Lyco-White is priced at $168 for a bottle, it can be pretty expensive since a bottle lasts only for a month with 90 pills. (3 pills a day for 30 days) However, for those who are determined to get fairer and wouldn't mind spending that extra bit of money, I would say.... go for it! It's really worth every penny.

❌2️⃣ You have to consume it everyday
— For someone like me who's more.... forgetful, it can be quite a chore having to remember to take 3 pills daily! Personally, I like to place my bottle of Lyco-White pills beside my make up so that I'd remember to have them right before / after I do my make up! Of course some days I still forget but ok the effect has been really wonderful already πŸ˜…

Just wanted to share this picture of my legs taken today because my skin has never looked this radiant! Seriously I look like I'm glistening HEHEHE so happy

P/S: That aside, idk why I've been getting so many random tiny bruises that don't hurt a bit at all?! The last time this happened was in 2015 but it was a lot worse! Any idea?

One step closer to being as white as white bedsheets and pillows!!! πŸ˜›
