Finishing up the Hunter Valley leg of the trip before I go on to Blue Mountains! This was the trip that got me started on drinking wine. Considering the number of vineyards in the region, it’d be such a waste for me not to haha. So I decided to take the plunge and I’m pretty happy that I did.Unintentionally discovered the glorious pairing of strawberries and Moscato. Pure magic! We had strawberries almost every day - they were going for AUD 1 - 1.50 per box. If only SG has such cheap ones!
In a sudden turn of events, the Kyoto trip that J and I was supposed to go on became a trip to New South Wales due to typhoon Jebi. Heck, I’m still amazed that we did all the bookings a couple of days before the trip, considering how we always plan in advance. All bookings, including flight changes, car rental, and accommodation were done last minute.Plus, Kyoto accommodation fees were refunded, we’ll be getting the Japan Rail Pass refunded, and flight change fees were kept to a minimum! 😆
I’m at this stage where people interactions at work really drain me. It comes and goes. All part and parcel of being an introvert I guess. These are the things that really irk me:- Having to clean up someone else’s mess and dealing with shit from the client who is pissed.- Having to deal with employees who keep making stupid careless mistakes. I call it a matching problem. Cannot even match A to A and B to B.
I love taking picture of benches, especially when they’re overlooking a beautiful view. I think it’s because they remind me of a slower pace of life, one that you can sit and enjoy a meaningful conversation without constantly checking your phone. There’ll be pauses, but none of them awkward. Perhaps a snack or two, like grapes or cheese and crackers.Watching the world go by.
