Good morning from Singapore! The longer I live in Sarawak, the more I miss home. I am MUST retire back here in Singapore 😂
Caught a morning flight yesterday!
Ro slept through most of the flight in my nanny’s arms after she got a bottle!
Arrived in Singapore in a very good mood! Aiyo, she look damn big here la! Baby no more!
Got back to a cosy, clean and tidy home all thanks to Mom, who spent the week putting things together for us!
Including sacrificing a Saturday to watch over the men who changed our AC units.
The Samsung ACs provided by the developer were damn lousy la, gave us quite a bit of problems since we moved in. We decided to bite the bullet and change to the highly recommended Mitsubishi Electric ones!
S$5.5k 💸💸💸 better last a lifetime 😂
And guess what? Supermom even prepared Ro’s porridge before heading to work.
What did I do to deserve a Mother like this? I don’t think I can even be half the mother she is.
BFF popped by to hang out for a bit and I chose to hang with her blue WOC which matches my outfit perfectly! 😂
Snacked on some pita and dips!
Then off I went for my long awaited haircut across our place!
I’ve never had a hair stylist that I love my whole life. So my trips to the hair salons are quite transactional and I may or may not return again. I think convenience is a big part too! I find it a chore to travel to get a haircut lol. #lazy
Anyways my last haircut with my usual Kuching stylist was quite a nightmare, uneven bangs and all. So I was quite looking forward to fix them this trip!
I chose to visit Covo cos Japanese stylist why not and It’s just a ten minutes walk away! Best! I’ve never gotten my haircut there before, only styling (which I quite like) for my mini birthday party last year!
Here! Ok not the best photo to show my hairstyle but I liked la!
And here’s my true self though I do have quite a RBF heh. 😂
I was 7 months pregnant with Ro and I still had braces on!
Went to BFF’s store and was so surprised to see this! Done up by her staff! So cute!
Anyways these hand weaved bags are made by the Penan women in Sarawak. So pretty right? They are super durable too! I bring three of these to the wet market weekly and they still keep so well!
This girl had dinner with her 姨婆 and great grandma too!
The kind of fruit bowl I get in SG, all my favourites!!! Btw the bright pink cherries from Japan are delicious!
Ro KO-ed soon after we got home, her first time sleeping in this playpen!
This morning’s work! Packed the pork broth that my mom prepared into milk bags!
Absolutely love this playmat from Skiphop! So fun and it’s so cushiony!
Meh breakfast from Penny University. Don’t think we will ever try to deliveroo them ever again!
