My husband insisted that nobody uses the phrase “9 months postpartum”.
Initially I was puzzled, and for a moment I thought he was correcting my grammar or something. But no...
He followed by saying, 9 months is too long to be associated with postpartum, u wouldn’t say that your mum is 30 years postpartum, would you.
The purpose of my post exactly
After 9 months, u can no longer flash the “I just gave birth” card
If Ure still breastfeeding and pumping in the office, it’ll no longer be “oh hang on! Jia you”. Should u need to excuse yourself for a pump, you will most likely be met with the exclamation “huh you’re still pumping?!?”
If Ure still fat, it’s no longer because you just gave birth and “you need to give your body time”. It’ll be.... “so fat never exercise”
If Ure still tired at work everyday, it’ll be “huh, your baby still haven’t STTN??”
All the TLC ur husband had for you during pregnancy and immediate postpartum will likely to be reduced to zero
We are on our own liao
